Good news update: Baltic
Remember Baltic, the dog who floated some 75 miles on ice floes and was finally rescued at the last minute by the crew of a Polish research boat? Well, it turns out that he didn’t accept any of the people claiming him, so his new owner is Adam Buczynski, the crewman who pulled him off the ice. Baltic is now a ship’s dog, outfitted with a new custom life vest and going back to sea.
It seems that his relationship with Mr. Buczynski was sealed during bath time. Baltic was reluctant to enter the shower, despite desperately needing one to free his fur of all the encrusted salt it had accumulated — so Mr. Buczynski picked him up and took a shower with him. They’ve been friends ever since.

I really really liked this story. And hoped the crewman would keep Baltic. Man, I love a happy ending.
Cool.
If someone picked me up and took a shower with me, we’d have to be friends too.
Okay, that made me laugh.
was the dog wearing a life jacket for dogs?
Looks like it, doesn’t it?
